Who is responsible for your information?
Atkinson Bespoke Interiors Ltd, trading as Atkinson Bespoke Interiors, is the controller of personal information covered by this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 11829675. Our registered office is 24 Harwich Close, Redcar, United Kingdom, TS10 2QW.

Information we collect
When you submit our enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, message and any phone number or project type you choose to provide. We also receive information you send us by email or provide during follow-up conversations, such as project requirements and a property address when needed for a visit or quotation.
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, request times and security events.
Your contact details and message are needed to respond to a form enquiry. The phone number and project type fields are optional. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or details about other people that we do not need.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
- Project enquiries and quotations: to discuss work and prepare a quote you request. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract if work proceeds.
- General questions and correspondence: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the business and managing those communications.
- Website delivery, security and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website, protecting information and preventing fraudulent or abusive requests.
- Records required by law: legal obligation, where we must retain relevant accounting, tax or other legally required records.
The website enquiry form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. We do not use the form for automated decisions or profiling.
Who receives your information?
Enquiries are sent through Cloudflare's email service to our business email inbox. Cloudflare and the provider of our business mailbox process information to deliver and store these communications. People authorised to manage enquiries and projects can access the information they need.
Where necessary for your project, we may share relevant details with the tradespeople or suppliers involved. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive information where needed for advice, legal obligations or legal claims.
Cloudflare operates internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Its data processing addendum describes its international transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK Addendum where applicable. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data or to request a copy.
How long we keep information
Our retention policy is to delete or anonymise unsuccessful project enquiries within 12 months of the last meaningful contact. If you ask us to keep an enquiry open for a later project, we review that need rather than keeping it indefinitely.
For projects that go ahead, our policy is to keep relevant project correspondence for six years after completion. We may keep specific records for longer where a legal obligation requires it or an unresolved complaint or legal claim makes this necessary. We retain only the information needed for that purpose.
Technical records are retained according to the hosting and security service settings, for the time needed to deliver the service and investigate security events. Contact us for details of the retention applicable to a specific record.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of its use, or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions.
Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension applies, we will explain it.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, or call 0303 123 1113. You do not have to contact us first.
